Not going to Woolfest :(

It's Woolfest next weekend. I can't make it this year which I am sad about but my lovely friend is getting married and since I missed her hen weekend for Wonderwool, I can't really miss her wedding for another woolly festival. My friends think I am fairly odd anyway, that would just push them over the edge ;)

Anyway, to make up for not going, I am releasing the second phase of limited edition print on Thursday. This features a matching merino sock yarn hand dyed by the lovely Sarah at Babylonglegs. Here are the yarn and fabric together.

If you want to be one of the first to get your hands on this great combo, you need to come over and join my Ravelry group as I am offering people first chance on there, as a little group special.

For the sock-knitting kit you will get a skein of the 'Rainbow Brite' merino sock yarn and a drawstring project bag for £22 (postage included). Other bags/needle rolls can be made to order but don't forget, I only have so much fabric so order now :)

Knit Nation. Limited prints.

I am going to Knit Nation in July. I am so unbelievably excited but mainly nervous. It's in London, its going to be huge! Wollmeise is going!

So, for some mad reason, I decided that I would make some limited edition prints bags and needle rolls. Something that would say London and the UK to all the Brits but also the many knitters from all over the world who are planning to come to Knit Nation.

After discussions with a few people, I decided to pick four prints, buy a limited amount then once it had gone, I wouldn't make any more. I am realising two prints before Knit Nation then two others at the show.

Today I have launched my first print on my shop.

The next print will be released at the end of the month and will also include a collaboration with Babylonglegs.
