When I was little I used to go brambling with Grandma and my sister. My Grandparents have got a ditch down the side of their house which is full of bramble briars, we would get baby-baths full of plump, purple brambles then have crumbles, pies and jams for months after.

One year, we went with my Dad to some derelict land where there were brambles everywhere, mounds of the things...that my sister and I then fell down and went home covered in scratches and bramble juice.

Today Jack, Lou and I went brambling on our way home from the Post Office and made bramble and apple crumble for tea. Yum!

And we shall ignore the fact that M insists that they are called blackberries and not brambles ;)

Beautiful! Our back garden has brambles all the way up one side, along the back wall and half way down the other. we didn't get to them this year, which is very sad!
