FO Friday...school's out for Summer....

..well if you can call it that. We have had the lights on all day today because it is so glum in the house but I am told that the summer holidays start today. Maybe the weather will get the memo and normal summer weather will start tomorrow.

I always try to make something for teachers with J and L but I was struggling for time and inspiration this year so we ended up with some plants but I did make a little gift for L's teacher. I showed this to her a few weeks ago and she thought it was fab and that Mrs R would love it. I know her teacher so I don't mind if she thinks I am mad for making her an....

I've had lots of finished objects this week as I have been making bags for Babylonglegs to take to a trunk show that she is doing at Purl City Yarns in Manchester this Sunday.

I posted this little lot to her yesterday as I had no intention to go to Manchester this weekend then for some mad reason, probably after I spent hours trying to work out our diary for the summer, I decided that running away to go and see my fab friend and her amazing yarn would be the best idea so if you are coming to Purl, I might see you!
