Happy anniversary!

A year ago this weekend some friends came to stay. We had a great weekend and when they left I had signed up to become a Phoenix card trader. I had been buying cards from my friend for a year or so when she came to stay and convinced me to start selling them myself. I loved the cards, the price for the quality is amazing, £1.20 each or £1 each if you buy 10 or more, and there are always new designs coming out so you can never get bored!

Phoenix are an independent card publishing house. They use designs from freelance artists in the UK which are then printed in the UK on sustainably produced card. The cards are then sold via independent traders. That'd be me :)

As well as cards and gift-wrap, we also sell bookmarks, stationary sets and amazing postcard/notecard sets. I think these make great notes for including in Secret Pal and swaps that crafty people are so keen to participate in :)
When I began I thought that the cards would be a great complimentary product for my bags and needle rolls, something else to put on my stand at shows that I loved and believed in. That hasn't worked quite as I imagined it would. Some shows I take my cards to, others I leave them at home because I don't agree with people selling things that they haven't made at craft fayres.
This hasn't stopped my building up my business and taking my cards to other events that I would never have taken my bags to and they are helping each other. Slowly.
So, to celebrate my first year of being a Phoenix trader, I am offering free postage on my Phoenix web-shop so if you have ever thought about ordering and haven't got around to it, now is a good time to do it. Every customer will also be entered into a prize draw which will include Phoenix and Nicsknots goodies.

They are really cool, I've loved the ones I've ordered from you.
