WIP (not) Wednesday..

I realise it isn't Wednesday anymore. I was planning on blogging last night but I ran out of time so here I am WIP-Wednesdaying on Thursday night.

It's been another crazy week. Since last Wednesday, I have made two dragon cakes for Mr Nicsknots 4(0)th birthday with the help of J and L....

We had a fun day in Yorkshire Sculpture Park on Saturday...I'm not convinced there was as much attention paid to the sculptures as last time we visited. Teaching small children to kick leaves at old men was more fun....

I'm still decorating bedroom number 1. Mum came to play on Wednesday and we wallpapered the room ...who know it takes soooo long to wallpaper one tiny room?

To be fair, Twitter did. When I suggested we would have it done by lunchtime, there was a little laughter but since when did I listen to people telling me that DIY would take ten times longer than I have designated for the task?

I have managed to do some knitting...remember the Christmas knitting...I was going to make two little cardigans..hmm well, I have done one back and this is the first sleeve..I've never done intarsia before though so I am very impressed with myself. Even the back is tidy but not entirely convinced there will be two cardis ready for Christmas....
